This course has been specially designed to help you learn about the principles of waste management.

The courses are entirely on-line and you will be guided through each learning section. You will learn about the theory and practice of different elements of sustainability. 

Principles of Waste Management

In each section you will learn by using:

  • Interactive learning activities 

  • Short videos that will explain certain ideas or concepts 

  • Rich case studies, these will give you an insight into ‘real life’ examples.

  • Learning checks: short assessments to ensure that you have understood the key learning points of each section.

At the end of the course there will be a final assessment to check your understanding of the course materials.

About you

You do not need any specialised knowledge to complete this course. We will guide you through each learning section. You can leave the course at any point and return to your learning. It is important that you complete all of the sections.

Some learners find that taking summary notes as they work through each section of the on-line course helps them learn the main elements of each course and perform better in the final assessment.
