A Guide on supporting tenants with Comfort, Cost-Saving, Energy Efficiency, and Well-being in rented and social housing.
On this course, you will learn strategies to live more sustainably, tackle fuel poverty, monitor damp/mould in homes, improve ventilation, reduce energy costs, minimise waste, stay informed about new technologies introduced by landlords or councils, and enhance overall well-being at home through green practices. By the end of the course, learners will feel empowered to create healthier, more sustainable living environments within their properties.
This qualification is designed for learners who want to improve their knowledge of the functions of housing associations and ways in which tenants can be supported. Learners will review the history of social housing, methods of supporting tenant wellbeing, safeguarding restraints, Equality & Diversity in housing, understanding mental & physical health in housing, reasons for problematic behaviour and issues leading to isolation.
